Architectmade - Owl - mini - smoked oak

An enchanting little owl looks out with thoughtful eyes and its head tilted in typical owl fashion. If you find the owl and hold it in your hand, you will fall even more in love with the little fellow. The owl is made of smoked oak and has large eyes. The head is held to the slender body with a strong magnet, allowing it to be turned and the owl to change its expression.
The text is from Vejle Amts Folkeblad in 1960, where the creator of the wooden owl, veterinarian Paul Anker, was interviewed in connection with its launch.
- They say the owl is a symbol of wisdom, and there is certainly a lot in the owl's behavior that could lead one to believe it is a thoughtful bird. When I was a boy, I lived near a large plantation, and I could spend hours observing the owls perched high in the trees. I myself am very fond of owls, and I think it's exciting that others can also enjoy them.

Danish Architectmade has re-launched the Owl, which is now available in a mini version approximately 8.5 cm tall, and the Owl comes in both light and dark variants.
